Appointment and Cancellation Policy
Consistency is key to effective psychiatric care. We require at least 24 hours' notice for all appointment cancellations or rescheduling requests. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as no-show appointments, may be subject to a late cancellation fee. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a review of the provider-patient relationship and potential termination of care.
Payment and Insurance Responsibility
Patients are responsible for all fees associated with their care. While we may assist with insurance billing for covered services, it is your responsibility to verify your own coverage and understand any limitations, deductibles, or co-payments. If insurance denies a claim, you are responsible for the full balance. Payments for self-pay services are due at the time of the appointment unless other arrangements have been made.
Privacy and Confidentiality (HIPAA)
SilverLiningPsych is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Information shared during treatment is confidential, with limited exceptions as required by law (e.g., danger to self or others).
